Carmen was born in Catania Sicily in 1974, and has virtualy breathed music since childhood. She shares the love of the Blues and Black music with her father who is also a guitarist.

When Carmen was nine years old she began to learn the Electric Guitar and by the time she was 14, she was good enough to take the stage with her own band called "Moondog's Party".

The bands playlist included songs by Jefferson Airplane, Free and other great names of rock music. Carmen's vocal style is influenced by such grat singers as Otis Redding Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin.

Catania has always maintained a vibrant Rock music scene and soon local record label, Cyclope Records showed an interest in her music and recognised her potential.
